Over 100 crypto entities jointly call on US lawmakers to protect software developers when regulating the crypto industry

More than 100 cryptocurrency entities, including notable organizations like the DeFi Education Fund and Blockchain Association, are advocating for software developers’ protection during regulatory discussions.

Prominent crypto firms such as Coinbase and Uniswap Labs are part of this coalition, emphasizing the need for legislation that supports self-custody and peer-to-peer transactions.

The letter directed to the Senate Banking and Agriculture Committees outlines that developers should not face regulation solely for participating in blockchain activities.
