Over 900 crypto jobs are now filled by North Korean hackers

According to ZachXBT, more than 900 North Korean hackers have taken jobs in the crypto sector, amassing approximately 16.5 million USD in payments. This situation raises alarms regarding KYC/AML compliance and the security of companies, especially smaller startups.

Red flags of these infiltrators include fake profiles, resistance to meetings, and poor job performance. These signs signify that startups need to deploy stricter hiring protocols to mitigate risks associated with North Korean hackers infiltrating the crypto market.
