Vietnam Airlines (VNA) currently has 103 aircraft, comprising 57 leased and 46 owned, with a total fleet value estimated at over 25 trillion VND. To further develop, VNA has planned to invest in 50 new aircraft for the period 2026-2035 to meet growth demand. In the first three months of 2025, VNA recorded 11.7 million international passengers, a 15% increase compared to the same period in 2024, with revenue reaching 30.55 trillion VND, up 9.25%. After-tax profit decreased to 3.486 trillion VND. VNA also announced a plan to offer 900 million shares to existing shareholders at 10,000 VND per share, expected to raise a maximum of 9 trillion VND, to repay debts. 6 trillion VND will be used to pay suppliers and refinance loans, while the remaining 3 trillion VND will cover due debts.
