    Retail Giant Newegg confirms SHIBA INU is coming soon

    Two weeks after AMC accepts SHIB as a payment method, a major tech-focused e-commerce platform, Newegg, has announced that SHIB is coming soon to its platform.

    The platform currently accepts a number of cryptocurrencies via Bitpay. The crypto payment service provider is expected to add SHIBA INU to its list of supported cryptocurrencies, which includes the rival meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE).

    A recent update to Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) regulations has introduced a digital services tax that will be levied on cryptocurrency exchanges operating in the United Kingdom.

    Crypto exchanges in the UK will now have to pay a 2% digital services tax. Britain’s tax authority, HMRC, does not recognize digital assets as financial instruments and therefore exchanges are not eligible for financial exemptions.
