The Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) has announced it will acquire over 3.7 million shares of PJC, representing a 51.06% stake, from the Petrolimex Oil Services Corporation. Prior to the transaction, Petrolimex did not hold any PJC shares. The purpose of the transaction is to transfer ownership under a merger agreement, scheduled to occur between October 27, 2025, and November 26, 2025, through an off-exchange transfer of shares.
The Hanoi Petrolimex Trade and Transport Corporation is a second-level subsidiary of Petrolimex. Chairman Bui Van Thanh and other board members represent capital contributions from the Petrolimex Oil Services Corporation in PJC.
Additionally, Petrolimex plans to acquire nearly 3.8 million PSC shares from Petrolimex Transport and Services Corporation, aiming for a 52.73% stake in PSC. In October 2025, Petrolimex signed a merger agreement with PTC.
