Polygon Hemidall mainnet experiences temporary outage

On Wednesday, around 9:30 UTC, Polygon’s Heimdall V2 went down for one hour due to an unidentified validator’s exit from the network. Despite this, the Bor layer responsible for transaction processing remained unaffected.

Polygon’s team has restored services and is cooperating with RPC providers to enhance network stability. The Heimdall V2 upgrade in July aimed to improve performance by reducing finality times to five seconds, indicative of advancements despite increased complexity.
