John Egan has been named Chief Product Officer at Polygon Labs, focusing on improving payment experiences within the Polygon ecosystem. Egan brings extensive experience from Stripe, where he led major crypto initiatives.
Under Egan’s leadership, Polygon aims to leverage stablecoin micropayments. The platform’s stablecoin circulation reached 2.9 billion USD in July 2025, with more than 4.5 million active addresses, surpassing Ethereum.
