Preparing for the ‘expensive’ project at 235 Nguyen Trai, how much has Vingroup supported the Vietnam Tobacco Corporation for the relocation of the factory?

The support for relocating the Thang Long Tobacco Factory at 235 Nguyen Trai, Hanoi, amounts to 300 billion VND, with 150 billion VND already received by Vinataba. The remaining funds will be disbursed upon Hanoi’s approval of land use change and after the site handover. The urban functional area project at this site, involving Vingroup, plans to construct buildings ranging from 43 to 46 floors on 11 hectares. Vinataba’s 2024 financial report indicates revenues of nearly 28.493 trillion VND, around 78 billion VND per day, with a post-tax profit of approximately 1.52 trillion VND. They aim for revenue of 31.96 trillion VND in 2025.
