Juan Carlos Reynoso has been found in contempt of court for not complying with a seizure order for his Bitcoin. He faces a daily fine of 10,000 USD until he hands over the 120 Bitcoin, which are worth about 9.7 million USD.
The court documents indicate that Reynoso moved the Bitcoin to multiple wallets around the time he was notified of the seizure. The judge warned him that continued non-compliance could lead to further legal consequences.
