PV Power (POW) has over 900 billion VND in bad debt, with an additional over 300 billion VND in bad debt from PVI

The Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation (PV Power) reported its Q2 2025 financial statements, revealing a gross revenue of 9,415 billion VND and a net profit of 733 billion VND, up 66% from the previous year. However, total bad debt rose to 911 billion VND, an increase of 287 billion VND since the start of the year. The largest bad debt is from the Electricity Trading Company, with a new bad debt of 311 billion VND from the Petroleum Insurance Corporation (PVI). PV Power’s total assets reached 86,020 billion VND, while total liabilities stood at 50,480 billion VND, an increase of 11.6%, of which borrowed capital amounted to 27,870 billion VND.
