On May 10, at the Kremlin, General Secretary To Lam and President Vladimir Putin held talks to strengthen Vietnam-Russia relations. Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in various fields, especially in economics, trade, and scientific technology. General Secretary To Lam proposed to promote delegation exchanges and cooperation in healthcare, including vaccine research. Following the talks, a series of cooperation documents were signed, including agreements between VNVC and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, a gas contract with PV GAS, and an agreement between Vietnam Airlines and VTB Bank of Russia. In addition, cooperation agreements were also signed in areas such as nuclear energy, healthcare, and tourism, aiming to develop a companion relationship between the two countries.
