The stock market is witnessing a recovery with real estate stocks capturing attention. Novaland (NVL) shares hit the ceiling, showing vibrant trading after recovering over 70% in the past two months. This surge is attributed to the easing of legal hurdles in the real estate sector, especially in Dong Nai province where several major projects received planning approvals. Analysts predict a robust recovery for the real estate market in 2025, driven by an improved legal framework and low-interest rates. Enhanced transportation infrastructure is also expected to increase housing demand. However, there will be clear differentiation between firms that can deliver projects and those in restructuring phases. Many forecasts suggest that real estate companies’ revenues and profits will improve towards late 2025 and into 2026, as newly licensed projects start generating revenue.
