Cơ Điện Lạnh (REE) has decided to acquire up to 100% of shares in Phu Cuong Wind Power Company from Labor Hero Nguyen Viet Cuong. The project has a total investment of over 9.14 trillion VND, including two wind power plants Phu Cuong 1A and 1B with a total capacity of 200 MW in Soc Trang. This acquisition is part of REE’s strategy to expand its wind power capacity from 130 MW in 2025 to 800 MW by 2028, planning to bring 100 MW into operation in 2026. REE’s revenue in 2025 reached 10.012 trillion VND, with a net profit of 3.149 trillion VND. REE’s shares are on an upward trend, trading at 64,000 VND.
