REE Wins Bids for Two Wind Power Projects with a Capacity of 80 MW and Total Investment of 3.86 Trillion VND in Vinh Long

CTCP Cơ Điện Lạnh (REE) has won the bids for two wind power projects in Vinh Long with a total investment of 3.86 trillion VND and a capacity of 80 MW, expected to start operations in 2026. Vietcap forecasts that this project will generate a post-tax profit of 123 billion VND and contribute 10% to profit growth in 2027. This is one of the first renewable energy projects in Vietnam to apply a new pricing mechanism, allowing an increase in wind power prices by 18% and 9% compared to transitional prices. REE’s M&E sector is rapidly expanding, with ongoing construction of the T2 Passenger Terminal at Cat Bi International Airport worth 2.3 trillion VND. Profit growth in the M&E sector is forecasted at 52% and 33% for 2025 and 2026, respectively. REE intends to continue distributing dividends of 25% for the fourth consecutive year.
