Resignation of Vosco (VOS) Leaders

According to a notification from Vosco, Hoàng Lê Vượng, Phan Nhân Thảo, and Bùi Anh Thái have submitted their resignation letters from the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board. All three will resign on April 18, 2025, to focus on new tasks at the Vietnam Maritime Corporation. In the first quarter of 2025, Vosco reported its third consecutive quarterly loss, with a loss of nearly 54 billion VND and a 58% decrease in revenue compared to the previous year. Financial costs also rose nearly fivefold, due to a 26% increase in liabilities to 1.138 trillion VND. Vosco predicts challenges in the dry cargo vessel market, with falling freight rates due to oversupply. The company still aims for 2025 revenue of 5.3 trillion VND, down 12.1% from the previous year, and plans to continue investing in vessels. On the stock market, VOS shares have recently increased nearly 11%.
