The People’s Committee of Hà Giang province has decided to withdraw 79,855 m2 (nearly 8 hectares) of land from FLC Group due to the termination of the Mỏ Neo ecotourism project. This decision follows the project’s inactivity for over 24 months and FLC’s failure to manage assets on the land. The state will reclaim the land without compensation for any properties. The withdrawn land will be managed by the Provincial Land Development Center, and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will terminate the lease contract. FLC had launched the project in March 2021, designed for around 2,000 tourists daily, but it has now ceased operations.
