Riot Platform’s power strategy boosts credits amid production decline

In June, Riot Platforms mined 450 BTC, marking a 12% decrease from May’s 514 BTC. The average daily production dropped to 15 BTC, yet year-over-year output was up 76% compared to June 2024.

Riot sold 397 BTC in June, leading to net proceeds of $41.7 million, down 19% from May. However, the average net selling price increased to $105,071, up $2,500 from the previous month.

Riot’s overall power strategy boosted power credits by 549% to $3.8 million. Moreover, the company saw a minor increase in hashrate, while their all-in power costs fell to 3.4 cents per kWh.
