Ripple is expanding its presence in the UAE via partnerships with Zand Bank and Mamo, marking the first adoption of Ripple Payments under its new DFSA license.
The license, obtained in March 2025, enables Ripple to enhance cross-border payments, targeting inefficiencies present in traditional payment methods with high fees and prolonged settlement times.
Zand Bank aims to develop digital financial products, while Mamo focuses on simplifying international payments. Both partnerships reflect Ripple’s growing influence in the Middle East’s financial landscape.
