Ripple’s first 32,569 XRP Ledger headers were lost because of a server bug in 2012, making it impossible to verify early transactions, including the pre-mine period.
The missing records raise trust issues among users regarding the historical accuracy of XRP’s transactions and the distribution of its pre-mined supply.
Despite explanations from Ripple’s CTO, the lack of clear efforts to recover the lost ledgers leaves the integrity of XRP’s transaction history in doubt.
