Russian Finance Ministry Official says Russia won’t try to ban home cryptocurrency mining
Alexey Yakovlev, deputy head of the Financial Policy Department of the Russian Ministry of Finance, said it would be pointless to try to ban crypto mining at home because it would be difficult to enforce such a ban.
Crypto news outlet Forklog quoted Yakovlev as announcing during a video conference call that the ministry was finalizing new terms to bring such crypto-related activities into the legal realm.
