SCID Seeks to Overturn VIAC Ruling in Lawsuit with Novaland

CTCP Investment Development Saigon Co.op (SCID) recently held its 2025 Annual General Meeting, targeting nearly 168 billion VND in revenue and over 73 billion VND in pre-tax profit, with plans to distribute dividends for the first time in seven years. SCID is heavily investing in commercial real estate projects. Meanwhile, it is embroiled in a lawsuit with Novaland regarding the An Phú project. SCID proposed terminating its partnership with Novaland and filed a request to overturn the VIAC ruling that requires it to fulfill obligations under an earlier contract. SCID affirmed that the An Phú project, despite facing legal hurdles, will continue to be pursued. The Saigon Co.op An Phú project spans 6.9 hectares and will include a shopping center, residential apartments, and an office building, expected to become Saigon Co.op’s headquarters.
