Scottish police report 2,000% surge in crypto-related crimes since 2019

Since 2019, Police Scotland has witnessed a significant 2,000% rise in crypto-related crimes, leading to the need for advanced investigative tools.

To tackle these offenses, plans for a Cyber and Fraud Command division are in progress, alongside the deployment of Digital Evidence Detection Dogs and Digital Forensic Vans.
