Selling Rustic Local Dishes, a Vietnamese Business Earns Huge Revenue, 50 Countries “Check Out”

Sa Giang Import-Export Joint Stock Company, founded in 1960, specializes in producing its famous shrimp chips from Đồng Tháp shrimp. The company has achieved numerous milestones, including international awards and being one of the first 18 Vietnamese businesses to export to the EU. Today, Sa Giang exports to over 50 countries, with 2024 revenue reaching 707 billion VND, of which exports account for 500 billion, a 71% increase from 2023. The company also diversifies its products to include crab and squid chips, as well as other items like pho and rice paper. Net profit surged to nearly 100 billion VND. Although 2025 is expected to be challenging due to raw material price fluctuations, Sa Giang plans to achieve 870 billion VND in revenue and maintain stable profits. The company will continue to expand its market and strengthen brand promotion.
