Senator Cynthia Lummis has expressed alarm over claims that the U.S. Has reduced its Bitcoin reserves from approximately 200,000 BTC to only 28,988 BTC, highlighting a potential strategic error in the U.S. Government’s approach to Bitcoin.
Independent journalist Lola Leetz revealed these figures based on documents from the U.S. Marshals Service. Lummis emphasized that selling off a significant portion of these reserves could have detrimental effects on the U.S. Position in the cryptocurrency landscape.
