“Shark” that previously invested in F88 continues to invest in a hospital on the stock exchange

Mekong Capital, founded by Chris Freund, has invested in TNH, a hospital on the stock exchange, aiming to develop a healthcare ecosystem. Established in 2012, TNH, formerly known as Thái Nguyên International Hospital, currently has 700 licensed beds and over 800 staff. TNH operates three hospitals in Thái Nguyên and Bắc Giang, with last year’s revenue reaching VND 443.15 billion, a decrease of 16.7% compared to 2023.
Mekong Capital, with 22 years of experience in private investment in Vietnam, targets high-growth companies. MEF IV, the firm’s fifth investment fund worth $246 million, focuses on sectors such as healthcare and education. TNH plans to expand to 10 hospitals with 3,000 beds by 2030, serving approximately 1.6 million patient visits annually.
