SHB, along with many other banks, is accelerating capital increase plans to improve financial capacity and growth. Currently, SHB ranks among the largest private banks in terms of charter capital, and increasing capital could help this bank rise in the rankings. The capital increase plan aims to expand credit scale, increase income, and reduce non-performing loan ratios. Although credit growth is usually slow at the beginning of the year, SHB is achieving impressive growth with outstanding loans nearing 595 trillion VND, corresponding to a 14.4% increase. It is expected that SHB’s business results in the next nine months will maintain good growth rates. The bank has also completed increasing its charter capital to 45.942 trillion VND and plans to continue technology investment. The application of technology such as AI and Big Data helps SHB optimize processes and enhance customer experience. Furthermore, SHB has extensive partnerships both domestically and internationally, mobilizing capital from international organizations to develop green credit. Increasing capital is a gateway to three strategic pillars for SHB: enhancing financial strength, strengthening service capabilities, and developing technology.
