Singapore Shareholder Seeks to Divest from Nam Long

Nam Long Investment Corporation (stock code: NLG) announced that significant shareholder Ibeworth Pte. Ltd, a Singaporean company, has registered to sell all of its more than 29.4 million NLG shares (representing 7.64% ownership) to restructure its investment portfolio. The transaction is set to occur from July 24, 2025, to August 22, 2025, and if successful, Ibeworth will exit its stake in Nam Long. With an estimated share price of 40,000 VND per share, the company could realize about 1.176 trillion VND. Concurrently, the Chairman of Nam Long, Nguyen Xuan Quang, sold 2 million shares, reducing his stake from 9.99% to 9.47%. His two sons are looking to purchase an additional 2 million shares. In Q1 2025, Nam Long reported revenue of 1.291 trillion VND and a net profit of nearly 110 billion VND, a significant increase from the same period last year. However, the company’s total assets slightly decreased to 28.763 trillion VND, with inventory constituting a large proportion.
