South Carolina proposes new bill authorizing up to 1 million Bitcoin investment

The proposed legislation promotes investment in Bitcoin and requires annual audits for transparency. Furthermore, residents can donate digital assets through a vendor process. If passed, the law would be effective until September 1, 2035.

This initiative reflects a trend among US states establishing crypto reserves, with 24 states having proposed similar Bitcoin reserve bills.
