A report from Yonhap News Agency indicates that 10,810 South Korean investors hold assets exceeding 1 billion won (approximately 710,000 USD) in major exchanges, with an significant average of 2.229 billion won (around 1.59 million USD), which is 200 times more than the average user holding.
Among these high-value holders, 76% are users of Upbit. Most investors are in their 50s (3,994), followed by those in their 40s (3,086), over 60 (2,426), and in their 30s (1,167). Interestingly, while only 137 investors are in their 20s, they hold an average of 2.68871 billion won.
