South Korea’s top regulator dismisses Bitcoin reserve plan

Kim Byung-hwan, chairman of South Korea’s Financial Services Commission (FSC), dismisses the idea of creating a national Bitcoin reserve. South Korea currently has no need to stockpile cryptocurrencies and will monitor U.S. policy before deciding. Kim emphasizes the important role of the stock market in the economy rather than crypto assets.
