Spain plans to revise tax regulations for cryptocurrency gains

Spain’s Sumar parliamentary group aims to amend tax laws to implement higher taxes on cryptocurrency gains, subjecting them to personal income tax rates up to 47%.

Crypto assets will also face a 30% corporate income tax. Additionally, a risk indicator system is proposed for investor platforms, evaluating factors such as regulation and liquidity.
