Spanish police have dismantled a criminal gang responsible for defrauding over 3,600 victims of more than 32 million USD through a fake Bitcoin investment platform.
Eight individuals were arrested, including the alleged mastermind from Malaga, following a three-year investigation by the police’s anti-fraud unit.
Victims were promised high returns of 40% in one month and 300% in one year, leading to significant financial losses when payments ceased.
