The Spanish Red Cross has launched RedChain, a blockchain-based aid system ensuring donor privacy by providing cryptographic proof of funds without revealing beneficiary identities.
Developed in partnership with BLOOCK and Billions Network, RedChain replaces traditional vouchers with ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain, digitizing the aid process from donation to disbursement.
The platform ensures beneficiaries’ personal data remains off-chain, allowing donors to track funds without compromising recipient privacy, thereby maintaining dignity and accountability.
