Lending protocol Spark has initiated a previously approved SPK token buyback program. The protocol transferred 570,000 USDS to a new multi-signature wallet and began purchasing SPK tokens using CoW Swap’s TWAP execution method. According to on-chain data, 1.84 million SPK tokens have been repurchased so far, valued at approximately $36,000. The buyback strategy allocates $35 million for operational reserves, with the remaining treasury funds deploying 10% monthly for token repurchases over a planned 12-month period.
