SSI Stocks Break Record, Market Capitalization Hits a New High, Investors Hope for Digital Assets?

Vietnam’s stock market has experienced remarkable growth with the VN-Index rising nearly 54 points. SSI stocks led the surge, reaching a peak of 39,200 VND/share, recording over 50% increase since the beginning of the year, and pushing market capitalization to 77 trillion VND, setting a record among brokerage firms. This growth is driven by expectations of Q3 financial results and booming market liquidity. SSI is also awaiting prospects for upgrading and plans to launch a digital asset exchange through SSI Digital. The company plans to offer over 104 million shares at 31,300 VND/share, lower than the market price. The proceeds will be evenly allocated for investment in certificates of deposit and margin lending, boosting its charter capital to nearly 21 trillion VND. Major investors such as Dragon Capital funds will participate in this offering.
