Stacks resumes block production amid warnings of ‘occasional degradation’

On May 24, Stacks announced the resumption of block production following a bug fix in its mempool syncing logic. Node operators are encouraged to upgrade to version 3.1.0.0.11, although the team cautioned about possible further degradation until all miners complete the upgrade.

The underlying issue goes back to 2020, disrupting how nodes respond to RPC calls. After 70% of signers restored a previous version, normal production resumed, though another delay was reported shortly thereafter.
