Starknet passes SNIP-31 proposal, will support Bitcoin staking in the coming weeks

The Starknet community has approved the SNIP-31 proposal, paving the way for Bitcoin staking.

The BTC staking weight is established at 0.25, allowing for a maximum of 25% allocation of consensus power.

Starknet plans to officially launch Bitcoin staking in the coming weeks and will enter a decentralized sorting stage on September 1.
