State-owned giant collaborates with Vingroup to develop a nationwide electric vehicle charging station system, generating nearly 2.4 trillion VND from electricity sales, a 50% increase compared to last year

Petro Vietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) reported that its revenue for February 2025 reached approximately 2.365 trillion VND, a nearly 52% increase year-on-year due to an electricity production of 1,293 million kWh. The main contributors were the Cà Mau 1&2 and Vũng Áng 1 power plants. PV Power also completed the gas LNG purchase agreement for the Nhơn Trạch 3&4 power plant project. PV Power inaugurated its first electric vehicle charging station in Hanoi and partnered with Vingroup to aim for the deployment of 1,000 charging stations nationwide by 2035, serving VinFast electric cars.
