On July 28, the VN-Index of the Vietnamese stock market set a new record due to the strong rise of many stocks. According to the 2024 annual report, notable Gen Z investors include Mr. Ho Anh Minh, Ms. Ho Thuy Anh, and Ms. Ho Minh Anh, all children of the Chairman of Techcombank, holding hundreds of millions of TCB shares with a total asset exceeding 12 trillion VND. Also prominent is Mr. Tran Vu Minh, son of the Chairman of Hoa Phat, who holds 176 million HPG shares, equivalent to an asset of about 4.637 trillion VND. Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh, Chairman of DSC Securities, owns approximately 143 million DSC shares, with a total asset of 2.645 trillion VND. The VN-Index ended the session at 1,557.42 points, with liquidity hitting a record of 44.3 trillion VND, showcasing a boom in the market.
