Switzerland’s Crypto Valley surpassed a valuation of 593 billion USD in 2024, witnessing a remarkable growth in the European blockchain sector. Notably, 17 blockchain projects achieved unicorn status, with 14 surpassing 1 billion USD in market capitalization.
Investment in Crypto Valley increased by 8% year-on-year, amounting to 586 million USD across 56 deals. Centralized financial services dominated funding, receiving 34% of all investments, underlining the region’s pivotal role in the blockchain ecosystem.
