TCX – A Rare Vietnamese Stock Caught MSCI’s Attention Right After Listing

On October 21, 2025, TCX was officially listed and just 10 days later, it was added to the MSCI Global Standard Indexes, a rare occurrence in Vietnam. MSCI Global Standard Indexes comprises top large-cap stocks, serving as a basis for developing national and regional indices. Typically, MSCI only adds stocks during scheduled evaluations, but due to outstanding IPOs, they allow Early Inclusion. For early addition, TCX met strict criteria such as market capitalization, free-float ratio, and liquidity. TCX joining MSCI Global Standard Indexes signifies that it has met MSCI’s standards for large-cap stocks and may attract interest from ETF and index funds with a total managed asset exceeding $1 billion.
