Techcombank sponsored the original performance of the opera Carmen at Ho Guom Theater in Hanoi, marking the first such event in Southeast Asia. Featuring over 120 artists from the French National Opera and director Romain Gilbert, the event promises to transport the audience back to the historic ambiance of 19th century Seville. Over 70 tons of unique props and costumes were shipped from France, paired with 12,000 velvet roses, which serve not only as decoration but also embody significant meaning within the performance, reflecting Carmen’s spirit.
