Tether is expanding its support for USDT and Tether Gold (XAUT) in Opera’s MiniPay wallet to assist individuals in emerging markets with financial resources.
The initiative specifically targets users in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, allowing them access to dollar-based stablecoin transactions.
MiniPay currently operates in 60 countries, boasting over 12.6 million wallets and $153 million transacted in December, reflecting strong demand for stable dollar payments.
