Tether launches new account unit Scudo for Tether Gold (XAU₮)

On January 6th, Tether introduced Scudo—a new unit of account for its Tether Gold (XAU₮), defined as one-thousandth of a troy ounce of gold.

Scudo streamlines trading by allowing users to transact in whole or partial units, maintaining Tether Gold’s backing by physical gold and ownership verification.
