Tether plans to open-source Bitcoin mining OS; CEO says no need for 3rd party vendors

Tether aims to open-source its Bitcoin mining software, allowing new entrants into the market while decreasing reliance on expensive third-party services, as stated by CEO Paolo Ardoino.

The scalable and modular open-source system is designed for a peer-to-peer Internet of Things architecture. The project is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2025, enhancing decentralization in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
