At the end of the year, Thai billionaires collected about 35 trillion VND (1.3 billion USD) in dividends from Vinamilk, Sabeco, and Binh Minh Plastic. Billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi from F&N invested heavily in Vinamilk, receiving around 16.5 trillion VND in dividends thanks to regular payments of 40-60% annually. Since acquiring a significant stake in Vinamilk from 2013, F&N has increased its ownership and now holds nearly 20% of the capital. For Sabeco, after a 5 billion USD deal to buy 53.59% of the shares, the Thai billionaire has earned around 15.5 trillion VND in dividends over 8 years, despite a loss of about 3.8 billion USD on the investment. Binh Minh Plastic also performed well, providing nearly 3 trillion VND in dividends to Nawaplastic. Since becoming a major shareholder in 2012, this Vietnamese company has consistently paid dividends, with Nawaplastic currently holding 55% of the capital. Additionally, Thai billionaires have stakes in many other companies, yielding stable annual dividends.
