Thai police seize nearly 1,000 Bitcoin mining machines amid energy theft allegations

In a recent operation, Thai authorities confiscated 996 Bitcoin mining machines from JIT Co., located in Chon Buri. The raid stemmed from suspicions of energy theft, where the firm is alleged to have altered its power meter to minimize electricity costs, raising concerns over their power consumption practices.

The unauthorized use of a significant amount of electricity, estimated in hundreds of millions of baht, caught the attention of officials. With the ongoing investigation, authorities are looking into the activities and individuals involved, potentially issuing warrants for those responsible for this illegal activity.
