The Thang Long Royal Plaza project, located on plot 03-E9 in Yen Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi, has remained vacant for 16 years. This 3,900 m² plot is planned to develop into a mixed-use trade and service building, offering development potential for the area. However, despite its advantageous location just 70 meters from Pham Hung Street, the project has not progressed. Originally named Hanoi ICT Tower, it was invested by the Hanoi Information Technology and Communications Building Company. After being taken over by Thang Long Investment Group (TIG) in 2009, they invested nearly 8 billion VND but unexpectedly withdrew from the project by the end of 2017, transferring all shares. Currently, Thang Long Royal Plaza remains an empty plot with no construction signs, reflecting the slow investment progress in Hanoi’s real estate.
