Pá Uôn Bridge, commenced in 2007 in Sơn La province, is the tallest bridge in Vietnam with a main pillar of 105m. All design and construction were done by Vietnamese. The bridge was opened in 2010, connecting Sơn La with other Northwest provinces on National Highway 279. The company behind it is Cienco4 Corporation (C4G), founded in 1962, specializing in infrastructure construction. C4G is a pioneer in BOT investment and has participated in many major projects such as Yen Lệnh Bridge and the North-South Expressway. After a difficult period, in 2022, C4G reported revenues of 2,975 billion VND and a net profit of 168 billion VND, thanks to the revival of the public investment market. The company is also expanding into real estate in Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An. As of mid-2025, C4G’s total assets reached 9,041 billion VND.
