CTCP Agricultural BaF Vietnam has completed the acquisition of 50% of the capital of Khôi Dương Livestock Co., and 100% of Xuân Nghi Phát Co., bringing the total number of companies acquired to 15 in just 4 months. The company is supported by Muyuan Group, China, aiming to expand scale with plans to reach 450,000 sows and 10 million pigs by 2030. To achieve this goal, BaF will need to recruit more than 2,000 specialized workers and has partnered with over 30 universities and colleges nationwide for training. BaF plans to build Vietnam’s first ‘pig apartment’ on a large scale, including pig farms and feed processing plants, aiming to save land and prevent disease. This activity represents a significant shift in Vietnam’s agricultural sector towards modern livestock farming.
